My love affair with butter and sugar started young, and has developed into a passion for creating wedding and special occasion cakes that are not only beautiful, and creative but a conversation piece as well"

Heather Roney - Co owner of 'C' is for cake, is a graduate of Okanagan University College culinary arts program. After graduation, Heather apprenticed under several talented pastry chefs. Although she learned a lot, it was not what she wanted to do. Having a love for creating beautiful cakes for friends and family, Heather decided to expand into a home based business. This gave Heather the creative freedom she desired. This business grew by word of mouth and she enjoyed making wedding and special occasion cakes for many happy customers. In 2000 Heather moved to the Lower Mainland and met Freddie the Love of her life. They married, and shortly afterwards 'C' is for Cake was born!
